“Yellow Bird” was written in the summer of 2011 and the song took shape over time as The Elevate Project added their unique sound.  Featuring Tyler Ommen on drums, Nathan Staley on percussion, Steve Sawyer on bass, Aaron Netsell and Phil Brooks on guitars, J on keys, vocals by Aaron, Kristina Hemphill, and Suzy Schwartz, and J, Dana Legg on trombone, Gary Parker on tenor sax, Christine Tuck on alto sax, and John Tuck on trumpet.  Justin did a fantastic job creating a full mix where everything “sits just right”.

You may know J as leader of The Elevate Project or from his years leading worship. Regardless, J exudes creativity through all he endeavors. Now, in perfect time, J emerges to lead with song. Regardless of how you knew him before, once again…meet J.
